TAKE-OFF PRESENTED AT THE SUSTAINABLE AVIATION FUTURES CONGRESS IN AMSTERDAM

On the 22nd of May, Lawien Zubeir, Senior Process Development Engineer and Research Scientist at our project partner TNO, presented the TAKE-OFF project during the Sustainable Aviation Futures Congress in Amsterdam (NL).

Lawien participated in the panel discussion titled “Investigating multifunction catalyst technology to reduce energy consumption” where he had the chance to showcase the latest developments of the TAKE-OFF project and insights into its plans to advance a next-generation Power-to-SAF by converting renewable H₂ and captured CO₂ via olefins as an intermediate. Furthermore, Lawien touched upon key industry challenges and exciting opportunities for airlines, corporate organisations and fuel producers.

Every Year, the Sustainable Aviation Futures Congress features expert content, networking opportunities with the entire aviation and energy value chain, and in-depth insights into sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) projects, feedstocks, eFuels, carbon accounting, and regulation. This Congress also provides a platform for businesses and organisations to promote their solutions and credentials on the pathway to aviation decarbonisation and will feature extensive branding and thought leadership opportunities.
